We use tiny little painless needles to perform Acupuncture.  Usually patients become very, very relaxed and often fall asleep.  We study for many years to learn the points of insertion for each needle.  We leave the needles in the body for about 20 minutes for each treatment.  The points used depend on what we are treating.

You Are Not Alone

Many couples will experience infertility at sometime of their reproductive life. The good news is that most couples are not really infertile, but due to stress, diet, lifestyle choices, environmental factors, etc., our bodies become imbalanced. That is why acupuncture and herbal medicine is able to help.

If you have been diagnosed with Infertility remember Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine is a great way to restore the body to it's natural state.

How does Oriental Medicine Treat Infertility?

The first treatments usually involves regulating the menstrual cycle. I believe that by clearing the congestion in the pelvic cavity, the patient has not only a better chance of conceiving but also a better chance of full term pregnancy. Normally, this takes from 3 to 6 months or more depending on the nature of complaint. Within this phase, most women will become balanced and ready to conceive.

Western Medicine has a wonderful advantage of being able to do blood test, urine test, ultra sounds, etc. Oriental Medicine uses other ways to diagnose your imbalances. Now that many western physicians are understanding that acupuncture helps along with their treatments we are able to take advantage of these test results to help verify the imbalances. Patients can benefit greatly using the two together. The acupuncturist you choose should use your pulse, and tongue observations to make their diagnoses. Other information you have learned from your Doctor will help make your treatments successful. Together, patient doctor and acupuncturist can work to achieve one goal.
